Fault Codes for the 1986/1987 Shelby GLHS
(and possibly other Chrysler vehicles with the 2.2 liter four)

View fault codes for 1988 Dodge Caravan (Mitsubishi injected 3.0 liter V-6). Return to Ellsworth's speed sensor page. The codes displayed here may be read with an automotive code reader/code scanner, or using the technique detailed below, on your dashboard's "Power Loss" lamp.

To read a vehicle's fault codes, perform the following procedure:

  1. Begin with the vehicle's engine turned  OFF
  2. Turn the key from OFF to ON (without turning all the way to START) three times,
leaving the key in the ON position. The pattern should be ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON.
  3. Observe the "Power Loss" lamp in the vehicle's instrument panel. The lamp will
flash slowly. Fault codes are all two-digit values. Values will be separated by long pauses.
